Common Questions
Viewing and Access
Why can I only see some features? The app shows features based on your permissions. If you need access to additional features, contact your organisation administrator to update your permissions.
Can I view event details offline? Yes. Cached event information (name, description, image, venue) remains available offline. Live data like sales statistics and the activity feed requires an internet connection.
Why do statistics sometimes show old data? Statistics are cached and refresh when you pull down. If you see stale data, pull down from the top of the screen to fetch the latest information.
Sales and Statistics
What time period do the statistics cover? The statistics carousel shows today's performance, yesterday's figures, and the last 7 days. Swipe left or right to see different time periods.
Why do I need EventSummary permission to see statistics? Sales data is sensitive business information. The permission system ensures only authorised users can view financial performance.
Offline and Syncing
What happens if I lose connection while viewing? The app switches to offline mode automatically. You keep access to cached data, and features that require internet are hidden. When you reconnect, pull down to refresh.
How do I know if offline scanning data is available? An info banner at the top shows "Offline mode - X tickets available for validation" when offline data has been downloaded for this event.
Permissions and Roles
How do I get additional permissions? Contact your organisation administrator. They can grant permissions through the web dashboard under team management.
Why does my view differ from a colleague's? Each user's view is personalised based on their permissions. Different roles see different features to keep the interface focused on what each person needs.
