The Seaty mobile app provides comprehensive features for customers attending events. Whether you're managing your bookings or preparing for event entry, the app offers a streamlined mobile experience for all your ticketing needs.

At its simplest, the mobile app answers one question: How do I access and present my tickets at an event?

Who uses this: Anyone who has purchased tickets to a Seaty event.

Note: Ticket purchasing is currently done via the event's web booking page, not in the mobile app.

How It Works

At a glance: Purchase tickets on the web, sign in to the app, then access your tickets at the venue.

1. Purchase Tickets

Buy tickets through the event's web booking page. The web provides a better experience for seat selection and payment.

2. Sign In to the App

Open the Seaty mobile app and sign in using the same email address you used to purchase tickets. Your tickets automatically appear.

3. Prepare for the Event

Browse your events, check venue details and times, and optionally add tickets to your phone's digital wallet for faster access at the door.

4. Present at the Venue

Show your ticket's scannable code at the door, either from the app or from your phone's wallet. Staff scan your code and you're in.

5. Keep Records

Past event tickets remain accessible in the app for your records.

Browse and Discover Events

  • View all events you're involved with (purchased tickets, staff access, or membership)
  • Search across all Seaty events (when signed in and online)

Searching for Events

When signed in and connected to the internet:

  1. Tap the search bar on the home screen
  2. Enter event name, venue, or organisation
  3. View search results from all Seaty events
  4. Tap an event to see details
  5. Tap "Home" to return to your personal events

Why search shows all events: You can discover events from organisers you follow, not just ones you already have tickets for.

Manage Your Tickets

  • View all your tickets across all events
  • Organised automatically by event date
  • Access scannable codes for venue entry

Managing Multiple Events

If you attend events from different organisers:

Can I purchase tickets in the app? Not currently. Purchase tickets via the event's web booking page, then sign in to the app with the same email address. Your tickets appear automatically.

Finding Events

I can't find my event. Where is it? Use the search bar to find events by name. Tap "Show past events" if the event has ended. Confirm the event hasn't been cancelled by the organiser. Verify you have tickets or access to the event.

What does search find? All public Seaty events, not just ones you have tickets for. This is useful for discovering events from organisers you follow.

Venue Entry

My scannable code won't scan at the door. What should I try? Increase screen brightness to maximum. Clean your screen. Try the digital wallet pass instead. Show ticket ID to staff for manual entry.

Do I need internet at the venue? No. Tickets work offline once they've synced to your device.

Wallet Integration

How do I add tickets to my phone's wallet? Open your ticket in the app and tap the wallet button. Your ticket is added to your phone's built-in wallet app.

Why use the wallet instead of the app? Wallet passes appear on your lock screen when you arrive at the venue. No need to unlock your phone or open the app.
