"Hello, Dolly!" tells the story of Dolly Levi, a widow and matchmaker, as she travels to Yonkers, New York, to find a partner for the wealthy and miserly Horace Vandergelder. Dolly's matchmaking leads her to question her own desire for companionship and eventually to consider Horace as a potential love interest. The musical, based on Thornton Wilder's "The Matchmaker," is set at the turn of the 20th century and features a blend of comedy, romance, and memorable music.
