Festival Choir is the Black Country's fun, laughs and good times singing community! Everyone welcome, no experience necessary! We are focused on building a singing community of all backgrounds and ages, where people feel welcome and comfortable. It's just great for the soul!
We originally started in 2016 with 15 people, steadily growing to over 100 members today.
Our 'festival' name suggests there's always something to celebrate! Don't say you can't sing....over half our members apologise for this....yet they're amazing!!! We meet at Festival Community Hub, Beacon Court (at the rear of the Beacon Centre) in Sedgley on Mondays from 7.30pm in line with school terms. We're focused on creating energy, enthusiasm and just having good old fun! We stage various events throughout the year.
In addition we have several other groups, where everyone is welcome….
LOVE2MEET? – Monthly community live entertainment and food events. Tickets £10 (pre book only via phone/email)
LOVE2WALK? – Weekly Tuesday Walks at 10.30am – meet in the community hub bar then chat over a hot lunch!
LOVE2TALK?– Weekly Thursday Coffee & Breakfast mornings from 10am.
LOVE2CRAFT? – Regular Craft Events with ‘Hive of Craftivity’
Our Café Bar (lots of nice bar snacks, toasties, omelettes and sandwiches) is open to the public Monday to Friday 9.30am till 2.30pm and our evening bar 7pm till 10pm. You’ll find us in Beacon Court, at the rear of the Beacon Centre, off Charles Hayward Drive. (Please park on the front by the Charity Shop).
Our ‘Main Space’ with a capacity of up to 120 in a variety of layouts, is available for hire, for events, rehearsals, training, workshops, family celebrations etc….
