Johnstone Phoenix Theatre Group present their 60th anniversary production 'Shrek The Musical'. Based on the Dreamworks much loved film 'Shrek'. Set in the mythical land of Far Far Away, join Shrek the green ogre, who after being mocked all his life retreats to a swamp to live his life in isolation. Suddenly a gang of homeless fairy-tale characters raid his home including Pinocchio, Three Little Pigs, Wicked Witch and many more. They have been evicted by the evil and vertically challenged Lord Fardquaad. Shrek sets off on an adventure to get them their home back, meeting his friend Donkey on the way. Shrek strikes a deal with Lord Fardquaad to slay the dragon and free Princess Fiona in exchange for return of the fairy-tale characters freedom but all is not what it seems with the Princess...
